The Nancy Buckminster Scholarship is awarded to a full-time college student who is an active and productive member of the OCCW. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and given once a year. Established in 2022, this scholarship was created in honor of Oklahoma CattleWomen member and friend, Nancy Buckminster. 

Dedicated to the beef community and her fellow CattleWomen, Nancy set a great example of leadership, grace, and philanthropy for those that came after her. This scholarship is awarded to a Collegiate CattleWomen annually that exemplifies the same leadership and giving values as Nancy.

Requirements

1. Must be an active and productive member of the OCCW.
2. Must have a 2.5 or greater GPA.
3. Must be accepted or enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university.
4. Must present two letters of recommendation. The letters can come from a professor, advisor, employer or someone who has known you for a considerable length of time.
