This scholarship was established in 2018 in honor of long-time member and friend of Oklahoma CattleWomen, Brenda Frymire. Brenda held countless positions within OCW and was awarded the Oklahoma CattleWoman of the Year award in 2014 for her dedication and support of the cattle community. Upon her passing, donations from friends and family were received and this scholarship was created to reflect the type of person Brenda was; an adventurous and enthusiastic CattleWoman that enjoyed getting to travel to ANCW meetings at the Cattle Industry Conventions. This scholarship awards $500 annually to assist one OCW or OCCW member in attending the ANCW meetings.

Requirements:

1. Must be a current member of OCW or OCCW.
2. Must include a 200 words or less summary detailing why they feel they should receive the scholarship.
3. Must attend the ANCW meeting at the Cattle Industry Convention and provide a summary of meetings upon return.
